I have been an Artist for over 30 plus years. Born in Westbury, Long Island, New York in 1944, I grew up in an idyllic era of our country. In the early 1960s I attended New York City’s School of Visual Arts, then went into the army to Vietnam as Photographer and Instructor Head of the Black/White and Color Laboratory. As an Art Director, Illustrator, Board Game Designer, Album Cover Artist, Author, and Artist, I have been creating my art work since the mid 1970s.
From my vast collection of work, I have selected these images and recreated my favorites in a new contemporary way, along with new art works to complete a great collection of these new Open Edition Prints and Greeting Card Lines. They are what I call the “Bird,” “Dance,” “Gallery,” “Heart,” and the most popular images of the “Word” Series. The work that is shown, came from my original paintings and mixed media art works.
All of my products are printed and produced in the U.S.A. The assembly of the greeting cards are done by a local Northern California company, North Bay Industries. They are dedicated to assisting mentally, physically and developmentally disabled adults to become more productive and self-reliant members of their communities. I am pleased to be working them.
My art is about communication, visually with the image and verbally through the titles that I choose. I also have Original Paintings, Mixed Media Dimensional Art Works, Sculpture, and Limited Edition Prints available on my other websites. See the links on this site. I show my art in select galleries here in the United States and Japan, in addition I participate yearly in several juried art festivals through out the country. I am married to Jeweler and Designer, Isabelle Posillico. Together we create our various forms of fine art in our studios in Northern California.
